Dog of the Month

Our dog of the month for July is Lilly. She is a beautiful black and white bitch of three and a half. She was brought up around cats however she tends to be a little rough with them. She is a confident and outgoing girl but still loving and loyal.

Bluey was our Dog of the Month for June we are happy to say he has now been rehomed with a cat and a lurcher friend. We had Bluey with us for a few months and we all got to know what a bundle of fun he was and we are happy to now see him get a deserving home.

Your dog deserves a home when it finishes racing!

We are here to help you. With the money we have raised through different events and with your support when buying raffle tickets etc, we are now able to help you by paying the cost to have you dog neutered this is approx £110 for bitches and £80 for dogs, as you know we are not very big and are limited to the amount of dogs we can have at any one time. Between Janet Brass and Joyce Moss we can only house 10 dogs at any one time, then homes need to be found for them, that is why we ask owners to keep their dog until a place becomes available. You will be put onto a list and we will help you as soon as possible, however we do work hard to make sure your dog finds a happy and permanent home to do this we always do a home check before a dog leaves us and they are also front lined and micro chipped. We provide all new pet owners with a collar and lead and a muzzle. On top of all this we keep a regular check to make sure the dog is settled in their new home so please be patient if you have to wait for your dog to be taken into our kennels. But I’m sure you will agree that them getting a happy life after racing is what counts.
